You don't necessarily need to run to your nearest locksmith to get a spare key. Though it's your best option for a sturdy key, there's another way to create one in a pinch. You'll need the original key, a lighter, tape, and the lid of a tin can. Be super careful and watch how to make the spare in the video below.
