The Downtown Hotel in Dawson City in Yukon, Canada has a peculiar, and slightly repulsive, tradition. The bar in the hotel serves a Sourtoe Cocktail, a tradition that, as the story goes, began after a bartender found a fossilized toe in a jar in a mining cave, and plopped it into a drink. More than 100,000 people have tried the cocktail since 1973.
