Where exactly did the Big Bang happen? The answer to this question seems obvious—at the center of the galaxy. Except that obvious answer is wrong. Every galaxy is moving away from ours at the same rate, which might suggest our galaxy was at the center. But hold on—that same phenomenon is true everywhere in the universe. That's because the Big Bang didn't just explode out from the center. It happened everywhere at once, and that includes right where you're standing.
