What Is The Speed Of The Dark?

Light travels at the fastest speed possible for a physical object. Because darkness appears when light leaves, darkness is as fast as light—however, there are types of darkness. For example, the speed of a shadow can break the light barrier. A shadow mimics its light source, but becomes bigger than the source the closer it gets to the light. Because the shadow is mimicking the source, it will move the same way; but because it can be bigger than the source, it will cover more distance in the same amount of time.
