A body farm is a not a place when human bodies are somehow grown and cultivated. In fact, it's quite the opposite. Corpses are laid in body farms for researchers to study, and they can determine a lot of things from such research. Mainly, the farms are used to determine time of death. But researchers can also gain evidence of abuse or cause of death by examining corpses and skeletal remains. A facility in Texas even has an undergraduate and a graduate program, and they train law enforcement, medical examiners, and canine handlers as well.
