Ever wondered why we have such detailed images of the sun when our images of other planets look relatively flat? It's thanks to NASA's Solar and Terrestrial Relations Observatory (STEREO) twin spacecraft, which are parked on the near and far side of the sun, respectively, to give us a 3D representation of everything that's going on with our home star.
