The Largest Known Planet, WASP-17b

The giant planet WASP-17b is the largest known planet humanity has observed. With a diameter of 249,000km, WASP-17b is almost twice the size of Jupiter. It also may be the least dense planet currently known, with a density about 6-14% that of Jupiter.
