Where are you in the solar system right now? Your answer depends on your native tongue. Our home planet has no official name. That's right—Earth is not the official title. Each person simply refers to our planet in their chosen language, and there are hundreds of words for Earth all over the world. Many derive from the Latin "terra." However, all of the different words from our planet share the common meaning of ground or soil.
