Well, looks like it's time to question everything you think you know for sure: French toast did not originate from France; spaghetti and meatballs is not Italian; and that's just the beginning. Italian wedding soup did not come from Italy either, but rather Spain. The English language name for Italian wedding soup came from a mistranslation as well. The soup has nothing to do with weddings, but it rather had been described as the marriage of different flavors.
