Thomas Edison accumulated around 2,300 patents -- impressive, but a small number compared to Silverbook's staggering 9,700. Born in 1958 in Australia, Silverbrook started his own company at the age of 17 and has been inventing ever since. Some of his many inventions include items in digital printing, digital video, digital music synthesis, computer graphics, liquid crystal displays, robotics, 3D printing, cryptography, nanotechnology, microfluidics, and many more.
