Is A Rabbit A Rodent?

It's easy to think of rabbits as the cuddly cousins of mice and other rodents. But they're actually not that closely related, despite the fact that a century ago, they were absolutely considered rodents. Their name goes beyond zoological taxonomy, though, and extends into how we think of rabbits.
