Haunting Paranormal Creatures

Most of us have feared them at some point in our lives: the scary things that go bump in the night. From ghosts to the boogeyman, to werewolves and Dracula, these awesome and terrifying creatures inhabit the dark corners of our imaginations. The very thought of these paranormal entities have followed mankind for centuries: ancient spirits, the Salem witch trials and even more recent creations like Slenderman have haunted our worldly dreams for generations. The folklore surround an alleged Mothman has spawned Hollywood movies, local festivals and decades of storytelling. "Pepie," Lake Minnesota's own Loch Ness monster, is thought to be behind numerous boating mishaps. Eighteenth century legend would have it that a woman and mother named Mrs. Leeds who made a deal with the Devil to lessen the pain of childbirth—and now the story of the Jersey Devil haunts those who dare enter Pine Barrens, New Jersey.

So where did these stories originate, and is there any truth to them? It is feasible any of these creatures exist in any place outside of our own fear? This playlist explores the dangerous and murky waters of the paranormal world, where eerie beings await.
