These days we know all about the effects that a concussion can have on the brain. Even in Henry VIII's day, people began to suspect that the king's many spills on the jousting field may have begun to affect his personality. Modern doctors have been able to sync up what was said about Henry at the time with the most common symptoms of concussions.
