Yet winter can be an ideal time to learn a new trade, try a new hobby or spend an afternoon working on a craft to keep your mind off below-zero temperatures and blustering winds. Easy do-it-yourself projects like mason jar lights, seasoning mulled wine and knitting yourself a pair of leg warmers are all fun and easy crafts great for a chilly day.
