Remember the 1999 rumor that computers would have a melt down and the world would end with the millennium? Or in 2012 when people all over the world were convinced the apocalypse was coming with the end of the Mayan calendar that December? It's been estimated as many as 3.7 million Americans are classified as survivalists, or preppers. There's even a convention dedicated to preparing survivalists for the pending end of days.
Fortunately, computers didn't end up blowing up the world in 1999, and 2012 is a thing of the past. But how exactly would one have survived if such disasters did occur? Grab some duct tape, a flashlight and non-perishable foods and get ready to switch into survival mode.
