After middle school and high school, some of us might think we'll never see those pesky algebraic formulas again. Yet what we may not realize is the majority of our daily functions, from shopping, to filling up with gas, to finding a travel shortcut or beating an opponent at pool, are behind nearly everything we do.

This playlist focuses on many concepts generally introduced around 9th grade: writing and understanding simple expressions, simplifying radicals and solving for variables in mildly complex arrangements. These mathematical principles lay the foundation for many more concepts to come, paving the way for more detailed and intricate problems.
