Chickens Are Related To T. Rex

The chemical structure of the proteins in T. Rex soft tissue illustrates an evolutionary link between the dinosaur and chickens. In general, chickens and turkeys seem to have experienced fewer genomic changes since the time of the dinosaurs than other birds, though T. rex has another close relative in the ostrich.
