Incredible Discoveries of Medical Science

If you hadn’t noticed, some truly significant discoveries in medical science. Recent history has felt like a whirlwind, with the global economic crash, a seemingly endless cycle of revolutions and wars, viral epidemics, natural disasters and massive leaps forward for technology. We’re constantly finding out more about our bodies and how they work—which means treatments are getting more specific, targeted, and effective.

Some of these advances are purely cosmetic—we’ve gotten really good at changing what we look like—but some of them are more fundamental. We’re much further along with treatments for some types of cancer, genetic conditions, and other serious illnesses than we were even a decade ago.
